YOGA

Members are required to bring their own yoga mat.

Health and Yoga are deeply related. Yoga is a popular tool in improving both physical and mental health which is the most common objective.  We provide several different classes for people who want to find a method to ease stress, or learn ways to deal with their health problems.

Please check the current schedule as class times and offerings vary throughout the year.

ANSURA YOGA
Focuses on the universal principles of alignment with emphasis on moving from the inside out, with a deeper meaning of heart qualities.

RESTORATIVE GENTLE YOGA
This class focuses on nurturing and deliberate poses practiced mindfully and gently. The pace is slower with emphasis on pranayama, opening up and releasing the body and mind’s stress and tensions. A longer savasana and meditation will be incorporated into the class to allow the student to fully explore their inner practice.  Students are encouraged to bring their own blanket and/or bolster/pillow to enhance the benefits and possibilities of the restorative postures.  Open to all levels.

STRENGTH FLOW YOGA
This class will focus on building core and over-all body strength, balance and increasing flexibility by working on stretching and elongating a different muscle group each class.  These will include arms, core, shoulders and chest, legs, and total body.  Incorporating focus on alignment, breathing techniques, warm-ups, challenging strength postures and relaxation.
Open to all levels.
YOGA 4WL
Long-term weight-loss management can only be achieved by the conscious, consistent, disciplined and dedicated practice of healthy choices.  This class incorporates principles of Ayurveda (the Science of Life), rigorous and invigorating yoga asanas, journaling and meditation to learn how to take care of yourself from the inside out.  One hour class will start with a short meditation/discussion, 30-40 minutes active asana practice to workout your body and soul, and conclude with savasana/meditation.  Open to all levels.
