The CIT program is designed for a 15 year old that is interested in being a camp counselor someday. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss! The CIT program has many advanced components. CIT's learn much more of the same material covered during our summer camp staff training. The CIT program is a great opportunity for exceptional campers to develop their leadership skills. The program will provide hands-on learning allowing teens to slowly work into responsible roles leading children. Staff will assist teens in developing their communication and organization skills. CIT candidates must be past campers of the YMCA at Glen Cove Summer Day Camp and must submit an application by May 30th. Each individual will be subject to an interview by our Camp Directors. 

FEES: $740 for the summer
