Since the 1950’s, the Huntington YMCA has provided programs and services that strengthen the foundations of our community. We are a diverse organization of men, women and children joined together for a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social.

In September 2009, we broke ground for a major renovation and expansion to include a 7,500 square foot wellness center, a 13 room childcare wing and additional parking and improved traffic flow.

With tremendous support from the community and a dedicated building committee and construction team, we proudly opened the new wing in September 2010.

In the spirit of "if you build it, they will come", we have seen a tremendous increase in both our childcare enrollment and general membership.

As a result of the increased enrollment in our childcare program, we have found in necessary to add addititional playground facilities.

In the summer of 2011, we began a effort to support the construction of a new playground.
