COUNSELORS IN TRAINING - Youth and Kiddie Camp

Completed 8th and 9th grade
$550 per 3 week session

The CIT program combines the
fun of camp with leadership
and on the job training skills.
CIT's assist counselors and
specialists with camp groups.
Each CIT will have the
opportunity to facilitate an
activity for younger campers.
The CIT group will participate
in team building activities,
attend guest speaker sessions
and take weekly trips to local
educational places of interest
to learn more about community
organizations, service learning,
and career opportunities.
The last trip of each session is geared to be a recreational and fun event for the CIT's. Those trips will be taken along with the teen campers. Program enrollment is extremely limited. All interested applicants must schedule an interview. Please call for an appointment 631-421-4242 ext.*146.

COUNSELORS IN TRAINING - Sports Camp

This program is for CIT's who have a love for sports. It will give them an opportunity to be both a student and a teacher in a safe and nurtiring environment.  CIT'S will assist counselors and work in camp groups teaching sports, playing games, organizing skill drills and having fun with the campers.  They will have some opportunity with the Sports Camp Unit Leaders to be mentored and grow into future counselors and also travel with Sports Camp groups on fun summer trips.  All interested applicants must schedule an interview, Please call Roseann Sarducci at ext. *146.
