The Fitness Center

Our Fitness Center is furnished with state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment. All cardio machines are equipped with personal viewing screens! We are honored to unveil the new “Inspiration” line of resistance apparatus as well as a host of other resistance training equipment.   The Center includes free weights, plate loaded equipment, and a designated stretching area. All members are encouraged to consult a physician prior to starting a fitness regimen. We also encourage taking advantage of one complimentary fitness orientation session with YMCA fitness staff. 
 
Fitness Center Policies and Etiquette

In order to ensure that all of our members have a pleasant experience at the YMCA, we ask that the following policies be adhered to:
  • Please file membership card with Fitness Center Staff.        
  • Proper attire is required. Sneakers, sweat pants, shorts, leggings, t-shirts, tank tops, and sweatshirts are appropriate to wear in the Fitness Center. No jeans, midriff bearing attire or flip flops allowed.

 

  • Please leave bags, coats and extra clothing in a locker.

 

  • Members are responsible for their own locks.    

 

  • Carry a towel and wipe equipment down as you use it.

 

  • Inappropriate language will not be tolerated. The YMCA asks that all participants respect one another and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner.

 

  • Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the Fitness Center for their own safety. 

 

  • Teens age 13-16 may use the facility with a supervising adult or on their own from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday. 2:00pm to close on Friday. and any time on the weekends. Anyone ages 17 and up may use the fitness center at anytime.

 

  • Please re-rack weights in the free weight area.

 

  • Observe 30 minute time limit on the cardiovascular equipment.

 

  • Please drink plenty of water during your workout.
