   You're never too young to start on the road to a healthy life.  Put your children and teens on the right road to living healthy.  If youth are taught how to be fit and eat right at a young age it will become part of their lifestyle instead of just a habit.  They will get moving and get educated in the safe and fun environment at the Patchogue Family YMCA.

Yoga (8 - 12 Years)

Focuses on linking breathing to movement while enhancing flexibility, strength and inner balance
Yoga (13 - 17 Years)

Focuses on linking breathing to movement while enhancing flexibility, strength and inner balance for teens age 13 -17.
Teen Fitness (Land/Land Class)
 
(Ages 9 – 14)

Teen Fitness is an introduction to proper weight training techniques and conditioning for cardiovascular exercise. Classes include discussions on the effect of diet and exercise on daily lives. It is our goal to give teens the ability and confidence to work out safely in the Adult Fitness Center. There is a maximum of 10 participants per class per 8 weeks. Class is held on Monday and Wednesday and both classes take place in our Multi-purpose rooms, gymnasium, or fitness center. 
Teen Fitness (Land/Water)

(Ages 9 – 14)

Teen Fitness is an introduction to proper weight training techniques and conditioning for cardiovascular exercise. Classes include discussions on the effect of diet and exercise on daily lives. It is our goal to give teens the ability and confidence to work out safely in the Adult Fitness Center.  Also with our water portion on Thursdays children will learn water safety and get the unique advantage of working out in our swimming pool.  There is a maximum of 10 participants per class per 8 week session. Class is held on Monday and Thursday evenings. Mondays class take place in our Multi-purpose rooms, gymnasium, or fitness center and Thursdays class is held in our Swimming Pool.
