Lap swimming should be done in an orderly, continuous, circle swim
fashion. Always stay to your right.
|

Choose a lane to match your ability – slow, medium, or fast.
|
|
• |
Slower swimmers should allow faster swimmers to pass – preferably at
wall.
|
|
• |
Please do not stand at end of lanes. If you need to rest, move to the
side or sit up on wall.
|

Follow the lifeguard’s directions!

CLASS TRANSFER POLICIES
Member initiated class transfers will not be made
after week #3. All class transfers must be pre-approved by Aquatics Director.
SPECIAL NEEDS
If you or your child have special needs, please
contact aquatics director prior to registering for any aquatics classes or
programs.
All children must be toilet trained to participate
in aquatic programs.
Swim diapers may be purchased at the front desk.

Please shower before entering pool.
|

Please observe the pool schedule. As a courtesy to all members, do not enter
before scheduled time and leave promptly at the end of scheduled swim.

• |
Safety first! No running, skipping, pushing, or horseplay is allowed at any
time.
|
|
• |
Jumping is prohibited.
|
|
• |
Masks, snorkels, and fins are permitted with a doctor’s note only. |
|
• |
Appropriate swim attire must be worn. Please no gym shorts, cut-offs, or street
clothes.
|
|
• |
Street shoes and/or sneakers are not allowed on the pool deck at any time (for
sanitary reasons). |

• |
Hanging on lane lines or safety rope is not permitted.
|
|
• |
Do not enter pool area with open sores, cuts, and/or ear or nose discharge.

Only U. S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Devices are permitted.
|

• |
No inflatables (rafts, floats, swimmies, etc.).
|
|
• |
No disposable diapers. Swim diapers must be worn if child is not completely
toilet trained.

“Respect” your Aquatics Staff! Lifeguards
are here for your safety. Please accept their instructions and the policies of
the Aquatics Program.
