The Great South Bay YMCA
looks forward to another
year of action packed
trips and activities in our
Teen Camp. Once again,
we are excited to announce
that our program will be held
at the spacious outdoor
campground facility at the
ACLD Community Center in Bay
Shore which includes our
outdoor Aquatics Complex
with three pools!
Placing special emphasis on
activities designed to meet
the needs of the emerging
teenager, Teen Camp will introduce teens to new sights, trips, friendships,
and experiences.
Teens will embark on two or three fun-filled
trips each week! Previous trips have included action packed theme parks,
beach trips, various NYC locations (TV stations, zoos, museums, theaters),
professional ball games and many more.
Teens will also devote one day out of each week
to community service projects and character development. The remainder of
their time will be spent making friends and enjoying YMCA teen activities
including swimming, fitness, aerobics, sports, crafts, Teen Lounge, and
much, much more.
