MEMBERSHIP PLANS & CATEGORIES
PLANS
FULL FACILITY MEMBERSHIP
Entitles member to unlimited use of
locker rooms, showers, pools, sauna, strength training center and
unlimited fitness classes (excluding Lifestyle programs). Full
facility members are welcome to use the Brookhaven, Glen Cove and
Great South Bay YMCA at no additional charge. The monthly draft plan
is a convenient and easy way to join the YMCA.
PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP
Entitles member to register for all
programs, includes use of locker rooms and showers while enrolled in
a program. In order to use the pools and Strength Training Center
for recreational purposes, a guest fee must be paid.
INITIATION FEE
There is an initiation fee on all new
memberships. Memberships may be converted from Basic to Full
Facility and from individual to family without a new fee being
charged. Any membership that has lapsed more than 90 days is subject
to a new initiation fee.
CATEGORIES Youth: Ages 6 months-13 years.
Student: 14-22 years (must
provide a current student photo ID).
Adult: Individual between the
ages of 23 - 61.
Adult Couple: Two adults living
together who claim each other as dependents on their income tax.
Senior: Individual age 62 and
over.
Senior Couple: Two adults living
together who claim each other as dependents on their income tax one
of which is 62 years of age or older.
Two Adults with Children:
Includes both parents and children up to the age of 18 (22 if a full
time student).
One Adult with Children:
Includes a parent and any children up to the age of 18(22 if a full
time student).
